My name is David Caldwell, I have almost 30 years experience as a photographer, doing a wide variety of work but mainly portraiture. I moved from Scotland to Forden near Welshpool 8 years ago with my wife April who is a local girl.
We pride ourselves in being creative and innovative whilst allowing our clients to have as much control over the final image as possible.

At Tartan Dragon Photography we offer a range of services many of which are not available elsewhere in Mid-Wales.
We have seen many changes in equipment over the years, but in recent years the digital revolution has made the impossible possible. We have embraced the latest technology, investing in the very latest equipment and have spent many hundreds of hours creating and fine tuning new techniques. The only limit is your imagination.We pride ourselves in being creative and innovative whilst allowing our clients to have as much control over the final image as possible.
In ALL cases YOU will have a preview of any work we have done to create that perfect portrait before your final portrait is produced. If there is anything that you would like changed we will be happy to oblige. Everyone is different, we all have different tastes, we all like different things so what may be pleasing to my eye may not be exactly what you are looking for. We will respect your judgment. The bottom line is we would like you to look at your portrait every day and never tire looking at it! To us that is the true sign of a good photograph.
